Open to all Troy High School cadets enrolled in NJROTC. No prior experience required. Just show up ready to work.
Who Can Join
Any Troy High School cadet enrolled in NJROTC. All grades welcome.
Experience
None required. Most members joined with zero robotics background. We teach building, programming, and strategy from scratch.
Time
3 to 5 hours per week during build season. Competition weekends require travel. Summer sessions are optional.
Season
Year-round. Build season runs September through December. Competitions run January through April. Summer is for prototyping and skill development.
Competitions
Local scrimmages, SoCal regionals, JROTC Nationals, and the VEX World Championship for qualified teams.
Skills
Mechanical engineering, C++ programming, CAD, game strategy, and working under pressure as a team.
